I was scared to watch the movie and be let down, but I was too curious! I expected it to deviate from the book, but I didn't expect quite so much to be completely left out.
I feel like this movie just didn't capture the core of the book, or of who Molly is. It also left out lots of exciting details.
Somehow the fact that Rocky can also hypnotize is totally left out. That said, I don't mean to base my review entirely on how it matches the book.
The movie itself I felt was just very superficial like a list of this happened, then that happened, etc. I don't think I would have liked this when I was a kid.
