Possible solution - Disclamier I do not work for sky and this is a fix I found after hours of my own troubleshooting. I have been bothered by the Sky GO Black screen of death for the last few days since the site forces me to install.

I have tried everything from re-installing my OS to running the app on multiple machines. After some investigation I identified an issue with the software package that sky are providing.

This included DLL is a 64bit dynamic link library and I was attempting to run the software on a 32bit version of windows old Lenovo Atom Tablet.

Let me know how you get on. Please note this will not resolve performace issues but will hopefully get the app loading on a 32bit system.
